Works to complete the Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) Wangaratta facility are underway, with Midson Construction (VIC) Pty Ltd as the principal contractor for the new fit-for-purpose facility.

Completion of the build will support the VICSES Wangaratta volunteers to continue to respond effectively to rescues, floods and storms and serve the local community through assistance with Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria and Fire Rescue Victoria.

The new site is located in an emergency services precinct on 36 Handley Street adjacent to Fire Rescue Victoria Wangaratta and opposite Wangaratta Victoria Police station.

The dedicated VICSES Wangaratta members will soon be able to move into their new unit with practical completion on track for late 2020.
