Working at the Community Safety Building Authority
At the Community Safety Building Authority (CSBA), our people are critical to our ability to deliver successful projects – we want our people to grow and develop with us and for the work to provide a strong sense of purpose and achievement.
We invest in our teams, providing access to career and capability development programs, as well as a wide range of opportunities. We engage and retain our people by providing a supportive and inclusive culture, and work-life balance.
Our people can take advantage of flexible working arrangements such as:
- flexible hours
- compressed working hours
- working from home
- additional purchased leave, leave at half-pay or without pay.
As part of the Department of Justice and Community Safety Victoria (DJCS), CSBA has one of the most progressive health and wellbeing programs. Our people can access a variety of resources on career development and personal support, discounted private health insurance, fitness classes and gym memberships, and bicycle facilities.
57 projects under active management
The primary focus of our work is to provide end-to-end project management and deliver Victoria's new prisons, youth justice centres and court and custody facilities in addition to emergency services facilities and public safety features.
Supporting positive outcomes through our work
As well as project delivery excellence, we’re committed to delivering projects in a way that benefit the wider community through a range of initiatives and activities.
