CSBA are working with the Country Fire Authority (CFA) to deliver new and upgraded facilities to support the critical work of CFA units across the state.
The Country Fire Authority is a volunteer fire service responsible for fire suppression, rescues, and response to other incidents and hazards across Victoria. CFA comprises over 1,200 brigades organised into 21 districts.
CFA units provide emergency assistance to thousands of Victorians every year - fire’s, emergency rescues, floods, and supporting other agencies during emergency incidents. In planning and constructing each facility, CSBA work closely with CFA, as well as engaging with local communities, councils, and other stakeholders. The availability of modern, fit-for-purpose facilities supports CFA to provide these important lifesaving services more effectively and helps to sustain and encourage volunteers in the vital role of protecting the community.
